A UNIQUE Exercise For the Future Managers

What is It?
To make a student aware of the actual market environment and to appraise his/her creativity, entrepreneurial skills & sincere efforts, every student is required to walk about the market .


 

WHAT TO DO?
  • Select the business activity.
  • Analyze the market opportunities.
  • Select the market segment
  • Design the production/distribution system.
  • Prepare budget.
  • Decide the strategies.
  • Implementation i.e. merchandising or commercialization.
  • Prepare profit and loss statement.
  • Introspection
  • Conclusion.

CONDITIONS:

  • The business should pay.
  • Implementation of theories of management
  • Business ethics should be adhered to.
  • Justify your activity as a member of society.
  • Efforts should be towards self-employment and not service.
  • Activity should be graceful enough to match your qualification.
At the end of the walkabout every student is required to submit a detailed report of "walkabout" and make a presentation in syndicate cell*.

Syndicate cell is the platform where students interact to exchange their views, ideas and experiences.
 
Computing facility:

The institute has a well equipped LANed lab with a 24 Hr. internet access.

The lab is extensively used to provide an on-line training of IT in management which includes Oracle, D2K, JAVA, Visual Basic, C, Visual C, C++, SPSS, TORA, QQ+, LINDO, TALLY & MS-Office.
